Do I really have a chance for Wharton Penn ED?-shortened version

Rank:11/600

SAT: 1570 M+CR
2260 with W

SATII: 760 MathII
760 Physics

EC:
100+hr comm service
3 sport athlete-captain in 1
student government
robotics team-13 at nat'ls last year

If that is the extent of your ECs, then no

You have not given enough info. If you’re poor and from the rural South or an inner city, I’d be shocked if you were not accepted. If you’re Asian and from the mid Atlantic or another overrepresented place, it will depend out beating out fierce competition and could go either way.

Your test scores are amazing even for Penn. Your ECs are about average for kids applying to Wharton, your class rank fits, so I assume your UW GPA is at least around 3.8 or so. If you have enough APs, than I think you have a good shot. Also look into UVA, and Notre Dame, two schools you can definitely get into, and have comparable business programs (if you get rejected from Penn). Good luck.

Hey thanks for the responses. I will have taken 7 APs upon graduation, my UW GPA is around 3.87 or so (the reason my rank is so high is because my school didn’t have a 10 pt system for As, Bs…). I am from NH (6 people to UPenn last year) and Asian.

It looks to me like your chances are decent. Can someone chance me as well? I am also ED to Wharton
