I'm going to be taking AP Calculus AB this year & either AP Stats or AP Calc BC next year. The only graphing calculator I have is the TI-84 Plus, which I thought that was enough for these classes. Then I came on here and it seems like everyone is looking to buy a much more advanced calculator. Do I really need to invest in a fancier model or will my current calculator be enough?

I went through Calc AB with a TI-84 plus… I doubt BC has anything you will need anything higher for. You are probably good until multivariable calc where I think you need a ti-89

I went all the way through multivariable calc in college with a TI-83 plus. You’ll be fine.

My school requires you to get a TI-89 but Im sure you can do it with out one
