660 reading - 640 math - 660 writing
EC's: Model UN, NCSY Bronx Chapter, Red Cross Club, Summer office work experience
Essay - Pretty freakin good
Rec- Average
Ethnicity: Nepalese, but its mostly grouped in with asian/southasian </p>

<p>UD is somewhat unique among Major Research Universities in that it focuses more on rigor of HS courses, grades in these courses, and GPA as compared to standardized test scores. Your GPA appears to be on the low side for UD so this is a concern. Perhaps your very good SAT scores, HS reputation, good essay and EC’s, and ethnic background may help compensate for the relatively low GPA but this is difficult to accurately assess. To specifically answer your question IMHO you do have a chance of being accepted but it is probably borderline because of the GPA. At many other Major Research Universities I suspect you would have little problem being accepted based upon primarily on your very good SAT scores. I would guess that you probably have already experienced this at other schools. Best of luck to you.</p>
