Do law schools value undergraduate work-study as a plus in the admission process?

Do law schools value undergraduate institutional work-study as a plus in the admission process?

Nope. They only care about GPA and LSAT. Work experience is always a plus in the job search though.

If work study involves published research, yes. If you are manning the check out desk at the library, they do not care.

I know it doesn’t answer your question, but most employers will absolutely appreciate that you helped to foot the bill for your undergrad education. Not all work experience is viewed equally, but having some work experience and responsibility is much, much better than having had none.

working your way through school can be a small plus factor, particularly at the top publics (Michigan, Cal, UVa).
