<p>No. Med school students very rarely go to school in the same city as their parents and very rarely live with their parents even when they do.</p>
<p>$$ is why it helps to go to your state's medical school.
Your chances of getting scholarships are far greater within your own state.</p>
<p>Otherwise, as BDM says, take out loans.......</p>
<p>Medical scholarships are surprisingly few. What really helps with cost is that the tax payers subsidize medical education for in-state residents...</p>
