I know that Mac is like the most internationalism campus
But is that just academically and like they're just having all kind of minority clubs and activities and all those things but not really like hanging out together?
do international students hang out in their own groups?
do Twin Cities make student body less cohesive?

The international students are fairly integrated with domestic students. I'm a domestic student and have a lot of international friends. I think when some intl's come in their first year they may feel more comfortable hanging out with other international students because it's more familiar, but they always end up making domestic friends.
The Twin Cities don't make the student body less cohesive. For the first two years everyone lives on campus and eats in the same dining hall. There's always stuff happening on campus, and people tend only to go to concerts or restaurants off campus for special occassions. Starting junior year some people move off campus and choose to distance themselves from campus, so upperclassmen are more spread out.

Thank you, macstudent!!

I'd agree with macstudent, except I would make one caveat. Like any school, people with similar interests (be it theatre, anime, or international culture) will tend to group together, so sometimes it requires effort on both parts to truely integrate groups...but thats true anywhere. Also, I'd second the idea that the twin cities don't make campus less cohesive...for the same reasons.
