How likely is it that we will receive our first choice dorm? Thanks
Depends on which dorm you are trying to get into and what part of campus. Pick a type of dorm you want, then make all of your choices within that type. e.g. newer 4 person suite, South Campus - Horton, Hardin, Koury or High Rise - Eringhaus, Hojo, Craig. Most first years are on south campus (social) then they migrate north to Mid or Olde (a little quieter & more convenient). Best of luck to you!
My son did his dorm list. He did not get any of the dorms that were on list. He was in Hinton James. It is the furthest dorm from campus. The upside is he actually lost 25 pounds just from walking to classes. He did get a better dorm for next year. Good luck!
I chose Craige as my first choice and got it! It really depends on the lottery.
