All the info about it is listed in the College's web pages and Engineering isnt mentioned anywhere. So im thinking they dont have that requirement?

The orientation registration page says “Nursing, Engineering and Architecture (exception: Architectural History) students may take a placement exam but are not required to do so.”

Ok so there is not placement exam, but is a language still required?

Students in the College have to demonstrate proficiency. It’s not required for Engineering. :)

Sweet! Thank you very much Dean

I thought I will share this:
I went to the DOTL last Monday, at the Engineering info session,
someone in the audience asked this question?
‘what’s the foreign language requirement?’
the Engineering Dean replied: “Mathematics”

Dean Aylor must have been confused… our foreign language requirement is Java, it says so on our shirts

Zing!

Love it. :)
