So my U.S histroy told me that anyone in his class that gets a 3 or lower on his AP test is dead to him and he will call you out during class. If I DID get a 3, do teachers receive AP scores ahead of time during the last few weeks of school after we’ve taken it?
He will receive the score in his CB teaching portal in July but it is COMPLETELY INAPPROPRIATE that he or she would threaten calling you out if you got below a 4. You should ask him not to embarrass you because that is very unprofessional and technically I do not think that he is supposed to tell your classmates your score.
this is harassment and may even violates FERPA…
It’s probably a joke. The scores don’t come out until July so you won’t even have the class or even that teacher when they come out. One of my sons said his APUSH teacher asked if anyone had gotten a 5 on the AP Euro test. The APUSH teacher doesn’t teach Euro. My son said he and 2 other kids raised their hands and the teacher said that about matched the school’s scores. The teachers were apparently told how many kids got each score, but not what an individual student earned. I wouldn’t worry about it, it sounds like bad grown up humor.
All AP scores show up on my kids’ Naviance accounts, not sure if teachers have access or not but GCs sure do.
