Do the UCs accept the ACT + SAT IIs?

See title.

Thanks.

if you had checked out the website of any of the schools, you would know the answer is yes

seroiusly, why not help willingly if you're going to help anyway

Hi, this is ONLY for applying before FAll 2006. VERY IMPOrtant, b/c of the NEW sat.

The SAT I: Reasoning Test (SAT I) or the ACT (The answer to your question!!)
The verbal and mathematics scores on the SAT I must be from the same sitting. If you take the ACT, you must report your composite score.
Three SAT II: Subject Tests
including Writing, Mathematics Level 1 or Level 2, and one test in one of the following areas: English literature, foreign language, science or social studies.

Yes.

If you're not a senior, but a junior then it's going to change significantly.

If I am wrong, please correct me (double check with UC Pathways)

Act Writing or the New SAT (available in March)

3 SAT IIs of unrelated subjects.

Again, double check with UC Pathways, your counselor, your school's career center if you're the class of 2006 or higher.

If you're Class of 2005, follow the Act (or SAT I) + 3 Sat IIs (Writing, Math, third) is okay.

You are absolutely correct for class of '05. The class of 2006 (this year's junior class), must take the new SAT or ACT plus Writing, plus two SAT-2's (not three), in different subject areas. Admission to an undergrad engineering program typically prefers one of the SAT 2's to be Math 2c, but check campus website next month (when they will begin updating for '06). '06 link attached:

Thanks BlueBayou...as part of the class of 2005, I'm not updated yet on the new requirements. Nonetheless, I have to--my little brother (c/o '08) is looking at the UCs; hopefully it will be standard operating procedure after a few years.

Eiffelguy87: good luck to little bro'
