So, last year I decided on going for a double major. Psychology and Pre-law. Today I've been hearing so many negatives about double majoring so I have a few questions about it.

1.) Do those two majors work well together? Like would they have any similar classes and what not.
2.) Will it really take up all my free time? I understand that double majoring is a lot of work, but the way that it's being described is like I will have literally no time for anything else. I'll only be going to class, come back to my dorm and study until my bedtime and repeat. I'm not expecting me to have time to like party every weekend or anything, but I mean I must have some free time to read a book or even breathe.
3.) Is double majoring worth it in general? Like I know both the majors I and going for are both needed in my career choice, but will they really care that I took the extra time to major in both?

Before I'm asked why not choose one, I have thought awhile about this. My dream has always to become a lawyer, but last year and up until now people are starting to tell me that being a lawyer is a waste of time, it's so competitive that I'll probably not get a job etc. So that really bummed me out but I wasn't trying to give up on my dream. Last year I also took psychology in school and sociology in a college (duel enrollment). I absolutely fell in love with psychology. I love to learn how the mind works and with sociology I love learn how and why people do the things they do. So from that I wanted to keep learning about those topics. I realized my dream and my new interest kinda clashed and I didn't know which one to choose until I researched some job titles and found one that suits me well, a forensic psychologist. It basically combines my two interests in one so I'm not missing out on either. I want to pursue a double major because of the simple fact that I adore both of the areas and I honest to god cant choose one over the other.

Any insight and advice will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for any response! :x
