<p>Do colleges read your essay for the writing section? I wouldn't think so, but I just wanted to clarify :)</p>
<p>I am not really sure either, but according to other posts here on cc, some really selective colleges might... but I think most won't, as they just won't have the time to do so</p>
<p>thats their one of the "scaring" tactics....although some small colleges with small no. of applicants might do but big ones hardly do it....</p>
