<p>How bad is NW Financial Aid?
Have they usually met the need of RD applicants in the past/Have they not?
Has anyone ever successfully appealed their Financial Aid?</p>

<p>It is said that they don't make it easy, but they make it possible. That was certainly the case for my daughter. NU has a very good reputation for financing the students they accept.</p>
<p>northwestern will give you more money if you ask nicely and eloquently, most people dont bother though</p>
