What would someone from the 1900s think if they saw the world how it is today? Imagine if someone from pre-1700s saw how things are. They would be amazed at the technology, but appalled by the way people act and dress. I'm seriously afraid to think of how things will be in 200 years!

My Global teacher said that we'd be better off if history ended in 1792 (or around there), before industrialization, which led to imperialism and the World Wars.

That said, I think that someone from the past might find all the technology fascinating, especially since people can communicate much more, and get to other places much faster than in the past. However, they might find that the nature of people today is less desirable. People have used technology for evil (as in World War II), and people tend to care less about just about anything today. A person from the past would be horrified at the weapons we now have and some of the ways we use technology, as well as at some of the attitudes of the people now.
