<p>I don't expect to ever meet any of the people on here (unless I stay on long enough to post what college I end up going to and find someone who's going to the same one whose posts I like enough to meet up with the person during college). It would be awkward.</p>
<p>But there are definitely alliances within the CC community and certain people who don't like each other.

<p>You can tell a lot about people based on their posts and sometimes certain people's posts repel me.
I don't like AriandSarah (who stopped posting) nor do I like Mr. Payne (who, unfortunately, is still here).</p>
<p>I mean, some people have attacked me for no reason, so I don't like them. but apart from that I like all and get along with all...apart from the periodic wild polemics I engage in... :p

<p>Well, for example, there's this one guy who has beef with TheVeganActress. They've argued before apparently and he still likes goading her. </p>

<p>Okay: I like making friends, anywhere, everywhere. I need attention (unfortunately) and I LIKE PEOPLE (intelligent ones) - so yes, I would love to make friends on CC. I already have a huge bunch of friends from CC. I talk to a lot of them pretty often. </p>

<p>I don't think people come here to make friends. But alot of ccers have MySpace or Facebook and add other members so I guess that a friendship could arise from there. But here people just ask questions or spam the cafe.
As for me, I initially never left the SAT prep forum, and forthose of you who have seen my threads and posts, you know I've had enough of that! So now I only come here when I'm bored to post spam al over the cafe.</p>

<p>I generally look for people who have some desire for social relationships (not asocial - those people are impossible to socialize wtih), but who have few real life friends (and who could engage in more meaningful interaction with me).</p>
<p>I agree with you. People with few real life friends are much less fake and polite just for the sake of being polite.</p>
