Do you have the most rigorous schedule in your class?

It was close, but I think I have the most rigorous junior year schedule in my school:

AP US History
AP Biology
Honors American Lit/Eng 3
Religion (Required)
Honors Pre-Calc
Sociology (1st semester)/Study Hall (2nd semester; I originally wanted PE (grad requirement), but they couldn't fit it in; I might as well enjoy it because most of the honors students didn't get it)
Honors French 3

The other girl has 2 AP (Calc and Bio) classes/2 Honors (English and Spanish) classes.

I hope that I can get the "most demanding program possible rating."

P.S. My schedule may look too easy for you CCers with 6-7 AP classes, but my school limits the number that you can take. People typically run away in fear from AP US History.

Sorry if I made it seem like it was a big deal; it's just my ego.

What about you guys?

Most rigorous for sophomore:

Honors English 10
Math Analysis
AP Statistics
Chemistry
AP European History
AP Macroeconomics
AP Microeconomics
Chinese 1
PE 2
Chorus

I think the 2nd most rigorous is like

Honors English 10
Math Analysis
Chemistry
AP European History
Spanish 4
PE 2

Good job on taking the most rigorous load and challenging yourself! :)
Mine is
AP US History
French 3 Regents (Maybe French IV also, I may double up)
IB English
IB Physics
Pre-IB Calculus
IB Theory of Knowledge
IB Economics

Probably not the MOST rigorous, but it's up there.

And of course, phys ed and lab lol

Yes, I definitely have the most rigorous schedule in my senior class - I had it junior year too.

Last year [JR] I had:

Gifted JR LA [our school has college prep level, honors, then gifted, THEN AP classes because of the number of students at our school]
AP Physics B
AP US History
Gifted Precalculus
AP Psychology
AP Latin: Vergil

This year is:
AP Macroeconomics [1 semester]
AP Government [1 semester]
AP Latin Literature
Philharmonic Orchestra [lol nothing else would fit in my schedule.. I'm the pianist for them]
AP Calculus BC
AP European History
AP English Literature/Composition

BUT - my school is lame because of scheduling conflicts... And we only have 6 class periods [+ lunch]

A fair number of people have schedules like mine, but it's certainly the most rigorous with which I've been faced (senior year):

AP Biology
AP Calculus BC
AP Chemistry
AP English 12 (Lit & Comp)
AP French 5 (Lang)
AP Psychology
GT Intern/Mentorship (spend 5 hrs a week doing research with a mentor, write papers and stuff)

/leaves ego-stroking thread

I have the most rigorous schedule at my school, but it's a complete joke by CC standards.

English 12
Spanish IV
Band
Accounting II
American Government and Economics
Calculus
Speech/Creative Writing
Newspaper

Notice that the list doesn't include the letters "AP," "IB," or "H."

Lmao @ the 21031039201 threads like this...

what does it matter if it's the most rigorous at your school? For the record, mine's probably the least rigorous LOL.

^I'd like to see. Just say, "No, my schedule is the least rigorous," and then post it.

I've been a member of CC for over a year, and yes, I've seen about four million threads like this one. But it's still fun to post in them, especially since the other people at our schools laugh.

Oh virtuoso, please calm down!

and I was thinking of CC standards. Don't even bother. I'll send you a PM sometime...

Yeah, I'm pretty sure it's one of the most rigorous.

I don't have the most rigorous schedule. There are people taking all APs classes (8) at my school. I would never do that...

Wow, how do you guys know this? There are around 1500 people in my class. I think the most had 4 APs or a total of 4 credits of APs. Meh.

I'm up there in rigorousness.

AP Music Theory
AP Environmental
AP English Lit & Comp
AP French Lang
AP US Gov't & Politics
SUPA Psychology

The only things I could add to be more rigorous would be AP Calc AB/BC (however, this meets in the mornings, which I can't do due to performing arts classes AND it conflicts with much of my schedule), and/or science research... Which is a 3 year course that I dropped out of sophomore year and requires 30 hours of research per 2 weeks and a lot of competitions, etc, etc.

perhaps...in the top 7

AP Calculus BC
AP Biology
LA II Honors
Physics Honors
Spanish 4 Honors
American Studies I Honors

for a sophomore.

Ha, mine is definitely the most rigorous. Even the current val of my class says how insane I am. Closest person I know to my schedule is my best friend who's taking all but AP Stats and Forensics and he's taking Ag Foundations (easiest class in the entire school) and Trig honors. I'm pretty much taking the most intense classes offered at my school, but I can't help it, I'm interested in them all :D

AP English Lang
APUSH*
AP Psych*
AP Bio*
AP Stats
Forensics Hon.
Spanish 1 (required)

these courses are known for their massive homework amounts
*last three courses will be my easiest with the least amount of work (my Forensics teacher was saying how the hardest part of the course will be when we have to read a book about crime--that's fiction-- and it will be spread over a few weeks of reading it and is more interesting than the classics we read in other honors/AP classes! ha!)

Out of school (online classes):
Latin 2
Pre-Calc Hon.
Physics Hon.

Yes, but there's another guy with a similar one, thus I cannot have the sole honor... sigh.

Unless other kids are self-studying two AP classes for independent studies and taking 5 tests overall, yes.

i tie first/second with maybe a dozen out of 500 sophomores.
PE 10-12
Honors Spanish 5/6
Honors Chemistry
Honors Algebra II (some are a year ahead in Honors Pre-Calculus, though most of these students are just now taking Spanish 1/2)
Honors English Literature
AP World History

I have the most rigorous course load for Sophomores:

Science Research
Weightlifting
AP Physics B&C
AP Biology
AP Calculus BC
Spanish 5 (Honors)
History (Honors)
Leadership
P.E.
English 3 (Honors)

^
That's the guy to beat.

Most rigorous for anyone at my school :)

Sophomore

AP Physics B (Online)
AP Calculus BC (Online)
Chemistry Honors
English II Honors
General Biology I (H) DE (Online) (Equal to 1/2 of AP Bio)
SPA 111 DE (Online)
SPA 112 (H) DE (Online)
SPA 211 (H) DE (Online)
SPA 212 (H) DE (Online)

{SPA}=AP Spanish Language
(H)=Weighted Honors but not included in title
DE=Dual Enrollment

I'm about 80% of self-studying both AP Physics C's, Stats, and Psych
Still considering a few others.

Oh, 2nd most rigorous schedule at my school:

Chemistry Honors
Civics and Economics Honors (Online)
Earth/Environmental Science Honors
English II Honors
General Psychology DE (H) (online)
German I
Pre-calculus Honors (Online)
Speech and Debate Honors

Yeah, you can imagine what my school is like.
