Do you have to include race in your application?

I know they are race-blind schools in certain states but can I deny to state my race? I feel like it might negatively impact me.

Including your race is totally optional

You can leave those Q’s blank and understand that the college itself had little to do with putting the race questions on the application. Colleges are required to ask those questions by federal regulation
