Call me conservative or w/e, but I do tend to judge people based on drinking/smoking/drug - maybe except for social drinking. I do not call them trash or anything, but I try to avoid those people.

^^^
you must avoid a lot of people then?

^ Not really. Most of the people I meet do not fall into those category (most drink socially). I just mean that some people just show off that they drink a lot and smoke a lot. Seems like immatures

I don't exactly "jugde" kids who drink/do drugs/have sex.

I think they are choosing the wrong lifestyle. So I simply don't hangout with them.

Not really. It wasn't until a few months ago when I went to a party and some lady implied that I am probably drunk every Sat. night just for been a teenager that I realized that NONE of my friends drink/do drugs/sex.

To which I thought "wow."

ive partied with most of the top ten at my school (top 200 public) school and after sophomore year you realize everybody drinks and smokes and as long as they dont come to school on monday yelling about how trashed everybody was, i wont judge them. handle your business in school and release your inhibition any way you want to on the weekend, just dont talk about it after the moment

i'm surprised this many people (from the first and last page at least) don't drink/smoke or whatever. I only judge (in a negative light) those who are in super deep in some drugs or who are complete potheads/druggies. That doesn't mean I'll hate them or anything, just that I don't approve of what they're doing.

Potheads > Young Life-ers

I deem people who smoke weed to be definitively cooler than those who don't.

Absolutely.

nothing wrong with weed, or alchohol as long as it is not excessive. the same might even be said for harder drugs, but once you go there, "excessive" becomes a gray line.. (as in trying something once or twice is fine but regular use? no thanks)

sex isn't an issue unless you are just sleeping around like crazy, in which case it is impossible not to be judged..

those of you who judge others for drinking, smoking, or doing hard drugs...

are pathetic.

Just wait 5 years and see if you feel the same way.

I really don't judge for drinking because basically everyone at my school and in the city social circle does it (and no even though it's the NY private schools, it's not Gossip Girl).

I do find that I judge people for weed, smoking and hard drugs (which is an issue to a lesser extent but still serious).

I think that in moderation, "fun" and indescretions are kind of necessary to a normal high school experience.

I know too many of my peers doing stuff like this, I try and ignore it and when they mention it I just smile...
It's none of my business, they will pay the price. Frankly they probably have enough nosy people trying to stop them from shoving cocaine up their nose, and that probably makes them mad...and obviously doesn't make a difference...so let them pay for their stupid decisions.

no, I look past the cocaine on their nose.

I say i don't.... but subconsciously, i think i do

^
^
^
Bingo!

I dont judge them, as long as they are willing to share. PINCH THE SACK.

as long as they don't affect me, I really don't care.

The only people that are close to me that do stupid thing like that are trying to prove something about themselves.

Recently our valedictorian has taken to attending a lot of drinking parties. I think she's trying to shed the geek image...or something. It's a little disturbing.
