Scottish-Korean accent Contradictions taste good.

I love puppies. When I get really bored, I toss them into shallow ponds and record myself doing the act. All the while, I upload it and try to get super famous.

puppies are ridiculously adorable, but that doesn’t mean i like them. I’m not that much of a dog person, but i prefer smart, well-trained dogs over puppies.

Siberian huskies are the cutest little puppies. They always keep me company in the nursing home, HEHEHE.

^ lol.

puppies are cute but i can’t really touch them because of religious reasons.

^ Elaborate, please? :)

^ sure  I’m Muslim so in our religion animals like Dogs and Pigs are considered as najas. I think it’s okay to pet a dog…not really sure but it’s not encouraged to touch dogs in general. The problem really is if you end up getting the dog’s saliva, tears, or any excretment whatever from the dog onto your body or clothing. If that happens…you have to wash yourself 7 times. Also may I add, Muslims aren’t allowed to have dogs as pets or keep them in the house because of obvious reasons & your house won’t get blessed because the angels won’t enter. However, we’re allowed to keep them outside of the house for protection…like a guard dog.

^ That’s actually really interesting. Thanks for sharing :)

I used to want a puppy so bad when I was little. The irony is that it used to be that whenever I came across puppies and dogs, I was a little freaked out as it barked and I could barely come close to it.

^^ Whoa, that was actually an interesting post. I never knew that about Muslims. Wait, so why won’t your house get blessed if there are pets in it? And why do you have to wash yourself 7 times, for that matter? And why is getting stuff on your clothes frowned upon?

Sorry for all the questions. Just curious!

edit: actually, I might just wikipedia it. But it would be cool to hear this directly from a muslim

So, what are najas? I tried Googling, it did not work.

Not all pets. Cats, for instance, are fine.
∴ Cats > Dogs.

Cats are sooo exciting. Like, a tortoise or a sloth

I like puppies. I got both my dogs when they were puppies, and they were so cute.

^^^ that’s true…anything except for dogs…and pigs (? why would anyone one want as a pet…?) is okay to have as a pet. I’m not very fond of dogs anyway…they kind of scare me  i’m more of a cat person.lol.

HL, are YOU muslim? jw.

Basically najas refers to things that are dirty, filthy & unlawful. i.e. : Pigs, Dogs, Urine, Feces, Alcohol, dead bodies and vomit…things like that.

this explains it in more detail: Najas
