As I was cooking some Spam today, I remembered having a 'debate' several months ago with my friends about Spam. The general consensus among Asians seemed to be that Spam is awesome and tastes great, especially when cooked on a pan or in a stew. Among others, especially white people, the general thought was that Spam is nasty.

I'm Asian, and I eat Spam all the time. Tastes pretty great.

I’ve never had it before. But it looks pretty gross and I have a general aversion to canned meats. But I imagine that if it was cooked it right and no one told me it was spam, I’d probably eat it.

Yes, with rice, seaweed, and a fried egg. I like it a lot. Obviously not healthy-- But I don’t get how people are so critical of it when they’ll eat fast food so readily.

I’m white and I love spam…
I’ve only had it when my asian friends make it wrapped in rice and seaweed and bring it to school. Then I basically devour all I can get lol…
It’s so good.
