Do you smoosh your sandwich?

Well? :)
I press down on my sandwiches so that they're all flat, because that way the bread tastes better, IMO. I don't like sandwiches that aren't this way.

(there's a reason why this is in the cafe :))

That's funny I do too, and I mean like seriously flat, don't know why that is but it definitely does taste better like that.

Yesss and it's so much chewier and easier to stuff into the mouth.
Man, we speak the same language.

YESUH!
Except when they're lettuce in my sandwich. I like my lettuce crisp.
But give me a PB& J and WHAM! it's flat.

LOL... this thread is hilarious.... smoosh your sandwiches? LOL

I believe we all have something in common. :)

Hahahaha you're awesome.
311Griff: Yes, smooshing sandwiches. I've always been questioned about this so I wanted to know who else does it. The thought came into my mind after reading the thread about weird food combinations.

I do... along with hamburger buns too
...but not with hotdog or onion rolls

I smoosh my sanwhiches and hambugers (if they're not too thick). I also eat food around the edges first.

If I'm eating plain bread (slices) I roll it into a smooshed ball.

My whole family makes fun of me because as soon as I sit down to the table I smash my burger or sandwich down. It's just easier to eat that way, but they don't get it.

haha i do that, and everyone thinks i'm weird for it. It's nice to know that others do it too. i don't smoosh hamburgers though (unless they're big, like big macs), only sandwiches

amazing...never would have guessed how common it is.

but I mean, I like how it is more, err, compact or whatever; it goes down easier...you get my point.

and as far as the big mac thing, my fam says that they think I've grown up on too many mcdonalds hamburgers (not in a fat way) because theres no other way that i would like a sandwich/burger squished.

and I like no condiments 'cept cheeze, so theres no mess... I mean, if you're making this into a science here.

They just kinda get smushed when they're in your pocket all day.

I think we mean purpously (*sp) squished here

Unless it's a panini, which is sort of "smooshed" automatically, hell no. Though if I use a slightly old baguette for a duck rillette sandwich, the filling does have a tendency to squeeze out of the bread as it is eaten...

I do this too! Both the smushing and I always eat all the edges/crust first and then eat the inside of it.

Of course I smoosh sandwhiches, it's easier to eat them that way :)
