<p>I'm a senior in norcross high school and I wanted u guys to tell me that if I have a chance to get into GT.
Ethnicity: Indian/pacific Islander.
GPA: 3.5
SAT:combined 1200, I will take up again.
APs: caculus AB, MacroeEconomics, AP govt, JAVA A, Physics C.
many honors classes.
athletics: nearly twenty medals in shotput and soccer. cricket team capt for 3 years. excellent bowler.
awards: desciplined person of the year, FBLA state finalist and 2nd in region
Leadership: president of school council for 2 years, president for descipline committee, school band commander.
work: intern manual software tester in a software firm.
extracarriular: FBLA, IT Club, student council, deep rooted club, school event organiser.
residence: norcross city,Georgia</p>

<p>please tell me do I have a chance to attent GT for computer science.</p>

<p>I hope that 1200 is out of 1600, if it is I'd say you have a decent chance.</p>

<p>Norcross is in Atl, or at least GA right? That name sounds very familiar.</p>

<p>In any case, being in GA helps you out, the AP Calc helps you out, and if you score stellar on SAT Math (meaning 680+) I'm sure you'll be fine.</p>

<p>That, and just show you are passionate about something on your essay and your E.C.s and I'm sure you're a good bet for GaTech.</p>

<p>1200 is below the 25th percentile for GT I believe, but it's hard to say what the in-state SAT percentiles look like since I'm pretty confident you guys have an easier time getting in than us OOSers. Coupled with this, GT's admit rate is like 65%.</p>
