Do you think the game threads will ever die? Vote now!

Do you think the game threads like "OR" or "I have a new game" and stuff will ever die? What can kill them? Unlike the RSI thread (Rest In Peace, my friend), they don't end with any specific date (like acceptances coming out). What kills them usually?

You can't kill it. People will always keep it alive, even if you don't yourself.

things such as RSI pass away because people lose interest after the deadline/acceptance

It would take a great effort to completely destroy the game threads... or maybe a mod can remove it.

Whatever.

You know, I have to say I really like these kinda random topics. Seriously this forum is so much more interesting compared to the other people that live around me in this stupid rural area where the biggest thing of the year is 1 certain football game. Like I came back from this program today and it's Anatomy & it's around this area, and the kids here like almost ALWAYS have nothing ever to say. They're not willing to volunteer and even when we were going on this field trip, it was the same exact talk over and over about what Maggie the cheerleader did at Bryan's house or is was just silence. I don't know if it's around other areas, but I know like the Northeast part of the US is much more interesting. The people here, the only thing they can find to talk about is other people. It's the same stuff over and over. I remember when I went to a summer program up in PA and all these kids came from the NJ/NY area and they were so lively and yeah at first everyone was shy, but 20 minutes into a game and everyone was talking about all sorts of things from their favorite bball team to restaurants to anything. I mean gosh it's just so darn dull over here. I feel like I'm the only one that has anything to say at times. Usually when a group of people congregate, they can find something to talk about, especially if they're all from the same rural area ya know. And then here it's just so........boring I suppose. I think those threads will die if the moderator killed them. (which would be really mean)
