<p>Hey guys, me and my d have spent so much time looking at the very active threads on the Penn State forum (she was accepted 2 weeks ago) that we almost forgot about UMD. Great school…! Which would you pick if you got into both? Just finished filling out the FAFSA(aid for us not likely) – UMD a little cheaper than PSU. She hasn’t visited UMD yet.</p>
<p>UMD is more prestigious.</p>
<p>It really does depend on the field.</p>
<p>For instance, I want to go into Aerospace, and UMD’s program is better than PSU’s.</p>
<p>In general, idk which one is generally conceived to be better…</p>
<p>Yeah seriously I’m tired of waiting. I got about 5 hours of sleep last night and I’m so tired! I need a “accepted” decision.</p>

<p>KbiresearCh I was also admitted to Penn state UP in december I haven’t visited yet but I’m registered to in feb but I have been to UMD like three times and I loved it there it has quite a beautiful campus IMO. I believe UMD is a bit more prestigious but Penn state is obviously very well known and respected. But if I get into UMD I’m pretty sure that is where i will be going and won’t bother to visit Penn state but either one of these schools would he a great choice. Goodluck</p>

do you guys think they’ll release it during the day?
last year the people said they were released at 12 
and someone called the admissions office saying it was going to be yesterday or today so it shoul dbe todayyyyy</p>

<p>Well the person said he thinks the email was time stamped around 12, so we can’t be sure that it was at exactly 12.</p>
<p>Someone I know called yesterday and they said decisions would come out monday. I think it will probably be today though sometime this afternoon. If the email is time stamped at 12, we may not get it till this afternoon</p>
