Long story short: I had a copy of my GED scanned and sent to the submission office. On the Admission site it updated to "unofficial copy received" , and I received an email back stating they look forward to the official copy from the administration offices.

My question is would the 4-6 week period start when they received the unofficial copy, or when they get the official copy? I know, being a little over the top I guess. :D I more of want to circle the end of week 6 on my calender as the time to worry/call the Admissions office.

From what I know, they only start to review an application once it’s ‘final’; meaning they have received all final documents (official transcripts). That’s what I believe to have read somewhere in part 1.

But if you want to be sure just call the admissions office, they’re friendly and helpful.

So your stating, under the application status page, if something is “Provisional and Pending”, like a transcript then your not currently under review?

The reason I ask is that I’m currently enrolled in another college (taking four courses as we speak) and I assumed this “provisional” statement meant that my current courses, due to the lack of their completion, are provisional…?

I just spoke to admissions. They say they WILL review your app. And once you are accepted then you will be required to submit your final transcripts for the current semester. I advise you make this semester shine with good grades as some people tend to not care once they get admitted.

Thanks Brohlijk, that brightened my day some :)
