Dodmerb Concern - Help

DODMERB scheduled af ollow up appointment with a endocitrinologist which has something to do with a endocitrine or metabolic issue or someting. Any idea what this could have been..

am i at risk of not being approved, the service acadmies are my dream

Call and try to get more specific information as to what the concern is, and address it accordingly.

My son was medically disqualified by DODMERB twice and finally received a medical waiver and Letter of Appointment and is currently is in plebe summer. He contacted his admissions officers immediately on his first disqualification and she told him that he needed to take the intitiative. He called Dodmerb and found out what he needed to do and he did that and also followed the advise of his admissions counselor. Get clarification and be persistent. They like to see perseverence and know that getting into the Naval Academy is your first priority.

My son also was disqualified from the Naval Academy for having one foot bigger than the other. He was able to get a wavier on this and is currently enjoying plebe summer also.

Should he become an aviator, his handle will be a natural ...

BIG FOOT!

Or maybe THE YETI?

What about Sasquatch?

Sorry. Could not resist.

Are you sure "enjoying" is the correct word? ;-)

All the best to "middie" ... or Big Foot ... or whatever ... make that whoever.

P.S. Is he a kicker on the football team?

Well he wants to be a pilot- but Honest to God- one foot is 9 1/2 and the other is 10 1/2. He's not a punter but a running back- although on the Navy roster- he's listed as a QB:)-
