Does 3 years of science hurt my chances of getting in?

I know Boston College prefers 4 years of lab science, but how much would my chances at admission go down if I only had 3? those would be biology, chemistry and physics.

If you’re taking just three by choice, you likely won’t get in. But most likely won’t get in even with four.

If you’re taking three because you’re school offers only three, then no issue.

You can ask an admissions counselor but they are very clear they want four.

So you can apply but put it in your reach category regardless of your overall transcript because unless they are not true to their words, you’d be highly unlikely.
