Does a F on my transcript completely ruin my chances for admittance into Georgia Tech?

Took geoemtry honors but got a 60 as I was supposed to move but didnt/ brothers mental illness left me distracted, i retook it over the summer and got a 86 however it appears as a “P” for passing on my transcript. Hence my gpa is being held down at a 86 average, i am scheuled to take ap physics c/ ap econ/ ap environmental/ ap lit and calc ab (also a medical intership) next year and tech emailed me saying these mid year reports would be considered however not factored into gpa, also a 36 on the act and 1520 on sat, probably going to take math/physics sat subject test. tech is competitive as ever, droppig to a 23 percent admit rate, any thoughts? thanks guys also im an in state indian female applying for international affairs and will probably switch if admitted

What is your math score on the ACT? If you have good math scores that will make up for any bad grades to some extent. But for sure apply to U of Georgia and other schools to be sure you get into a college. You may want to take math over the summer instead of biology. The more math you know the better off you will be at Georgia Tech. Chemistry and math instead of biology make sense for you to get back on track to get into Georgia Tech.
