Does a housing confirmed date guarantee you a room?

I applied for housing last week and got a housing guaranteed date the following day. It says this means a spot is reserved for me. I was reading some old threads though and some people who applied for housing said that UCF ran out of housing to give everyone a room. Does this mean even if they say I have a "reserved spot," that it's possible there could not be enough room because I applied late?

I’m pretty sure that means that they have reserved a spot for you, just not yet a specific room. Since you’ve only recently applied, you may not get an actual room assignment until as late as July. If you don’t have an assignment by the end of June, I’d get in touch with someone at UCF housing just to make sure.

i think were roommates cuz i got one also. make sure your bring the t.v

My TV’s going in my room :stuck_out_tongue: Unless no one else happens to bring a TV, then I’ll guilt trip myself into putting it in the living room.
