<p>It would probably help a little bit I think. Like if a student did well at Penn there's probably a good chance his/her sibling would do well too. </p>
<p>However, if you're a poor applicant it probably wouldn't get you in.</p>

<p>My bet is that it would help also if you are what the call a "development case" aka your parents are loaded and therefore having 2 kids there would really increase the chance of the school receiving a good sized donation. just a guess, but it makes sense</p>
