Does anyone have any information about SUNY Potsdam?

I'm thinking about going there next year for psychology and dance. Actually, i'm most likely going because they have a dance program that I dont have to audition for, so i could definitely double major.

So does anyone know how the psychology or dance program and campus life and stuff there is? Any information would be really helpful.

Thanks for your interest in our programs! I work in the Admissions Office at SUNY Potsdam. Here are links to learn more about each major:

[Department of Theatre & Dance - SUNY Potsdam](Department of Theatre & Dance | SUNY Potsdam)

We have a very active student body here with so many clubs and organizations to get involved with. We are a designates arts campus within SUNY covering dance, theatre, music and the fine arts. So we always have concerts, theater productions and art shows right on campus. We also have solid athletic teams that draw crowds and an organization called SES that plans all types of events on campus for students like comedians, movies and psychics. You will always have something to do!

We are a residential campus which means the majority of our students live on campus. We have many different types of housing including standard doubles, suites and townhouses.

Call the departments you are interested in and speak with the head of the department. I called about the dance program once and found them to be helpful and very willing to help. They will most likely suggest that you visit…and you should, if possible, so you can take a dance class. The program style is modern.

Good luck!
