<p>Just wondering if anyone has any opinion on UCONN.
they seem to offer all the courses I'm interested in.</p>

<p>I have a friend who went to UCONN. He only took three years to graduate and really liked it there. I don’t know what you’re interested in, but he now builds sets for the Met in NYC. They also are the only college in America to offer an undergraduate degree in puppetry. The only downside he talked about was the fact that the college was in the middle of nowhere. But I would really recommend it based on how happy he seemed with the program and his professors. </p>
<p>On a more personal note, I’m a current Junior and it’s so important to make sure your college has all the right classes you are and might be interested in. Nothing is worse then realizing you’ve run out of theatre classes for your senior year because they don’t offer enough in a particular design area.</p>
<p>Also look into the shop environment of where you’ll be working… Very important!</p>
