Have you been to or heard about how good of a school Massachusetts College of Pharmacy is?

anyone want to reply?

To work as a pharmacist, you will have to pass the boards. To get an idea about how “good” one school is vs. how “good” another one is, you need to find out about the rates at which graduates of those two programs pass the boards. If you want to know about whether a degree from one place or another is more “marketable” you need to know where it is you want to work. Then you can find out whether that employer is more likely to hire graduates of school A or school B.

Hey serenap73
I’ve actually visited MCPHS. It is a very small school because it is a specialization school, but I still like it =] I am definitely applying there, as it has many program choices, such as the 6 year pharmacy program, 6 year physical therapy program, 8 year medical program, optometry program, etc. It is a “renowned institution” that has been around for a long time apparently, and it is in the Longwood Medical Area which is absolutely amazing. Harvard Medical School and hospitals are like a minute away, it’s great. However, the school is small, like VERY small, but I don’t mind that…I’m not sure if you do though. I would suggest visiting, I did last summer and will be doing that again. I am definitely applying there because I like the idea of programs that you can be accepted into from high school and for some reason I like the feel of the place and boston in general =] Sorry if this didn’t help much haha =]
