Does AP matter?

After finding out that I was admitted to Vanderbilt, I haven't been putting fourth the same effort as before. I still have no C's and have maintained a high GPA, but I haven't been studying for my AP exams at all. Without studying, I will probably pass 3 exams with scores of 4 or higher. But on the other 3, I'm probably getting 1's. Fortunately, I do not want to earn credit for these courses anyway. I took them to increase the rigor of my senior course load, rather than to earn college credit.

Thus, will Vanderbilt require me to send the scores for the 3 exams that I'm definitely not passing? Or can I report my AP scores separately and at my discretion.

Also, will the scores affect my admission status if they end up seeing them?

If you get a 1 on the AP exam, Vanderbilt will rescind your acceptance.

Just kidding, they won’t care. At this point, those AP scores are merely for your own benefit to get out of classes you don’t want to take.

i don’t think vanderbilt even has to see the scores, but i’m not certain of that.
