Does Bryn Mawr give aid by need or by your grade??
I got 28,000 grant…plus work-study plus loan adds up to quite a lot…
I was wondering if my family has to continue to be “poor” for me to get that much grant or if I get a good grade at Bryn Mawr then the college will give me a lot of grant…??

I don't know the answer to this for sure, but I am under the impression that any money BMC gives out is on need-based grounds only. I doubt your grade has anything to do with it, but I'd wait around for a better opinion than mine.

Any "free" money, e.g. non-loans, is only based on your need. There are certain scholarships that you'll be eligible for after your freshman year, but they're sponsored by alums and will just replace grant money you would have gotten. BMC's not keen on merit scholarships because it's divisive.
