Does Canada have LACs?

If you like french, then McGill is a definite must (it may not be a LAC), but most canadians call either that or the university of toronto the harvards of Canada

Actually it's mostly Americans who give either university the label "The Harvard of the North"

McGill is definitely NOT an LAC....there are somewheres around 25,000 undergrads. Also I don't think it has a terribly strong art history program (though Crake is right that the french program is good, not to mention lots of opportunities to practice!). However, while it's not an lac and your first year classes will be really large, the campus is smallish and a much more defined campus than Concordia, the other english speaking university in Montreal. However I thought I'd be happier at a smaller university, yet I absolutely love McGill :)

I'm canadian, but living in the US =)

wilfred laurier is good for undergrad business. Trent is fine as well. But to my knowledge doesn't have a stand out reputation in business. Are you only looking for a LAC bedposthalo?

Yes. I am Singaporean looking for a LAC that's fun and strong in business.

So far I'm looking at
1. McMaster U (the only non-LAC U in my list)
2. St. FX
3. Trent
4. WL

And I'm not looking at McGill/Queen's/UBC/UoT/Western because it is too expensive and the chances of me being accepted is pretty slim.

I think WL is the best in that list

How about Mt Allison and Acadia? Haha... I'm confused on which LAC to pick? Anyone from any of this LACs?

Since you have only four schools on your list, bedposthalo, why don't you log onto their websites and do some research. remember university is also about where you are going, not just about the program. if you hate your school even it has a strong business program, it won't be worthwhile. happy surfing.
