Does concurrent enrollment credit affect University Of Alabama GPA?

I am taking a concurrent enrollment english class now(through a Utah community college), will the grade I get it in affect my GPA when I go to Alabama next fall?

I’m assuming you’re an incoming freshman (not a transfer student).

It is my understanding that the grade will count IF you want it to - in other words, if you take the credit for it instead of taking a UA course instead.

The grade will factor into the overall GPA. It does not count towards your UA GPA or for the purposes of UA scholarship retention.
