Does Duke have those "mini-classes", or seminars I think they may be called?

I cannot remember what they are called, but almost everywhere i visited had them. They are for freshmen and are very small classes with a small student to faculty ratio that are taken along with regular classes. I think they may have been called seminars? Anyway, I was wondering if Duke offered those, and what types? Is there a lot of variety?

I think all freshman are required to take Writing 20, which is a seminar if I’m not mistaken. I’m sure someone attending Duke could give you a more accurate answer.

Yes there are seminars. In fact, you are required to take a seminar in your first year in addition to Writing 20.

Yeap there are plenty of seminars. I’ve had seminars with three people and up to eighteen. They cap seminars at 18 students.

Very cool, is there a wide variety of subjects?

Pretty much in every major/department.

Awsome, thanks for your help.

lol @ thread title. love it.

Thank you, glad to be of entertainment.
