Hey Guys! So, I am in sort of a weird predicament. After a lot of research and discussion, i have narrowed my college choices down to JHU and Duke. Personally, I like Duke better because I feel the student life is a bit better. However, weirdly enough, JHU offered me 10K more financial aid than Duke. I submitted FAFSA and CSS for both of them on the same day, so the information both universities have is the same. But I am wondering, does Duke match financial aid of other universities? Especially if the university is JHU, a university of similar caliber and prestige? Because, at this point, I might choose to go to JHU just for the aid (Med school is expensive 
).
I have not read any “formal” policy that indicates Duke does so, however I know of several instances where they have. I’d try; what do you have to lose?
Sadly, Duke is giving us less aid than MIT, Princeton, JHU. About equal to Rice, Too bad, kid has been a big fan since he was TIPster in 7th grade.
