Does ED emphasizes only "numerical scores"?

Hello!

I often heard that unlike RD, ED emphasizes the numeric systems, such as GPA, SAT/ACT, SAT-IIs, etc...

What about JHU? Does JHU's ED system also considers extra-curricular activities and honors/awards?

I have another question!

I am going to take SAT-IIs on October. I am worried because CB will send the result after deadline for ED. I marked JHU for CB’s “Sending the Result to Colleges” section. Does admission officers require separate copy of the score or are they just look at the scores sent directly by College Board?

I’ve never been on the admissions committee, but it is my understanding (based upon comments from members of the committee) that the criteria used to assess ED applicants is identical to that used during RD.

both are considered but with ED you can probably get away with having a lower SAT score. essays man.

Yup, I agree with strongbeans.

JHU’s ED does not put an emphasis on scores.

Thank you very much!~

Oh! I think I read from one of JHU article that JHU does not really put emphasis on AP scores for admission, but does look at those scores only when deciding course placement…is this true?
