Because my family can't afford the cost of tuition, I'm applying for full tuition scholarships but I am able to pay the living expenses (room, board, fees) of about $10000 a year. What do I put in my expected family contribution? Do I put 10000, 0 or somewhere at about $500s? Thank you :)))))))))

Where are you seeing that question?

Are you filling out a scholarship application?

If so, is the scholarship “need based” as well as merit based? (some merit scholarships also want you to submit FAFSA.)

Are you filling out an application to a college?

If you need 'full-tuition" scholarships, you probably need to apply for scholarships that are only based on merit (your stats)

What is your family’s income?

Where is that $10k a year coming from? Your parents?

its in the international student scholarship application (ISFA) and the CSS profile,
i think its for need base scholarship (the school offers full-tuition scholarship for selected students with good academics AND has a need)

My dad is the only one working and has an annual income of abt $35000 and i have a disabled brother so we have alot of expenses
that 10K is also coming from my parents
and the scholarship is from the college

thank you so much
