Does extracurricular really matter in pursuit of a Master in finance?
What if I'm not a leader in some organixation

Extracurricular matters not because of the title but because of the socializing it denotes. If you are going to work in finance you are going to need to be able to network as well as perform well academically. If you can demonstrate the fact that you are socially competent as well as academically competent you are fine.

EC’s help flavor your resume, but they aren’t really important. Having an internship in something finance related is much more important. Work experience or internship experience can vastly improve an application.
