Does financial aid affect when you receive your decision?

As far as I’m aware Stony Brook admissions is rolling. I submitted all my application materials back in late December. I have also submitted CSS a few weeks ago, but have not yet submitted FAFSA. I requested financial aid, however there is nothing on my to do list.

Will my submission of FAFSA affect when I receive my decision on their rolling schedule?

Financial aid decisions are being worked on now. Typically, that information comes out in March. HOWEVER – we use the FAFSA, not the CSS, so make sure you get that in. The CSS won’t do anything for you here.
