I am active duty military and I am separating from the service soon. I want to apply to GA Tech as a Computer Science major, but the issue is, I don’t meet the prerequisites. I was doing some digging and I believe the university offers an undeclared option. If they do, do they offer it to transfer students? Right now I am a Criminal Justice major. My biggest issue is my math and sciences not being high enough.
Transfer applicants are admitted directly to the major they list on their application, so you will have to declare a major and meet the chosen major’s course and GPA requirements by the course requirement deadline for the semester you plan to enter the institute. http://admission.gatech.edu/transfer/course-requirements-major
There is an ‘undeclared engineering’ option for freshmen, but this not an option for transfers and there is no overall undeclared major option.
