Let's say i went to Cal Poly Pomona or UCR. If I graduated with a pretty decent GPA would I still be viewed as inferior than someone who graduated from UCB with a similar GPA and we applied to the same dental/medical school?

bump…I was had the same question (law school).

well there are a lot of other factors that go into admission to med/dent school (the MCAT/DAT is a big one) but yeah, everything else similar someone who goes to UCLA/UCB/Other top 25 school is going to have the edge. Just aim for a 3.5+ and 30/20+ and all you can do is apply and see if you get in somewhere.

For med/dent school it does not matter so much where you went to undergrad. Your GPA, mcat scores, and extracurriculars are what is important. Not sure about law school though.

not very much. It does matter, but only barely.

spend less time worrying about things and more time making something of yourself.
