Does Harvard Superscore the ACT Sections?

Does anyone have the definitive answer? My son called the admissions office and was told that they do not. However, the posts on CC seem to suggest that if you submit scores from all your ACT test dates, then unofficially they do superscore the sections.

I guess I just don't understand why this is such a mystery -- or why it is so clear (and much more fair!) in the case of the SAT but not the ACT.

Harvard does NOT super score the ACT, while they seem to for the SAT.

As a Harvard parent, I have found the school to be very bureaucratic – decisions are made by committee and not by the individuals in charge. Why the school does something a certain way is indeed a mystery – and that applies to everything the school does, not just in Admissions.
