Does having credits from 3 different colleges affect my transfer chances?

Here is my story:
I have course credits from 3 different community colleges. I earned 30 credits from A community college, and I moved to B community college because my family moved. I transferred the credits from A community college to B community college. This spring semester, I am taking 2 courses at B community college and 3 courses C community college. I am going to transfer credits from C community college to B community college and earn my associate's degree at B community college.

By end of this semester, I have 30 credits from A community college, 23 credits from B community college, and 10 credits from C community college; total 63 credits with GPA 3.9

I applied to several schools as econ major including U-M AA, NYU, and UNC. I am worried if attending 3 different colleges would affect my transfer chances to those selective schools. Do they prefer student who take all courses at one college?

Don’t worry about this one. Many transfer students have attended even more institutions than you have. Your reasons for attending the various community colleges are good ones (moving) as opposed to bad ones (flunking out and starting over). Sit down with the transfer counselor at B (where you will graduate), and talk about your concerns. That person will have good advice for you.
