Does it look bad to take the SAT three times?

I have been thinking about this since I'm taking the SAT in March and i know I will not be able to reach my target score at this point.

But regardless, my parents want me to take it again in June, but I dont think that I will improve much since I will be caught up with my AP exams and SAT subject tests.

So these questions came to mind:
1) If I follow my set plan, will taking the SAT again in October for three times total be looked down upon by admissions officers especially those of Ivy league, NYU, Boston university and SUNY schools?
2) If I honestly think that I wont be able to make time to study for the June test, will pushing my subject tests to the June date and taking it the second time in October be the better option?

No, It doesn’t look bad because when you send SAT scores you chose which ones you want to send. The colleges won’t even know how many times you took it unless you chose to tell them.

A lot of schools ask you to send all the tests. Whether or not you do is up to you of course. I think three times is all right though.

No, as long as you don’t take it more than three times (an admissions officer told me that they only view it poorly if you’ve taken it more than three times).

It’s really up to you and what you feel comfortable with.

Three is fine.
