Does it matter when twins submit applications

Twins lists have about 30% overlap including a REA school. One twin is way ahead with his essays, the other is making slow and steady progress. If it matters their school refuses to send out any transcripts prior to Oct. 15th.

Does it matter at all (as long as it’s prior to deadlines) if one submits his application before the other? There is no overlap in rolling admission schools so that is not an issue.

It doesn’t matter.

No, with the possible caveat that interviews may be set up according to submission date. But applications are not read and discussed before the deadline

Thank you, I figured I was overthinking it.

I was wondering if they fall asleep every night at the same time

It may even be on that 30% overlap list that one gets in and one doesn’t.

They will be treated as individuals - just as their apps are.

It’d be nice though if you could get the twins application fee rate - i.e. just pay one - but alas, they might as well be named smith and jones.

Good luck to them.
