Does it really matter where you go?

So this is my dilemma. I have a choice between going to UGA,GT,Washu(possibly), or UMSL joint engineering program(get degree from UMSL but take classes at Washu). My main dilemma is on how much it really matters to employers as to what undergraduate school I graduate from. Would it hurt my income greatly if I went to UMSL instead of Georgia Tech if it were an engineering degree? This is all assuming I go on to get my masters degree at either Washu or GT. I live in Georgia and would really like to go out of state, but I'm afraid of hurting my future by getting a degree from a less "good" school. If anyone could help that'd be great.

Not for engineering. UMSL would probably be ok if you only plan to work locally. Georgia Tech is a well known name nationwide, so it helps if you have to move around. What UMSL stands for?

University of Missouri at Saint Louis
